Vågsberget

Trading & Guesthouses

Vågsberget in Kinn municipality is one of the best-preserved trading and guesthouses along the coast. The buildings date from around 1800, but the trading post has roots dating back to the 17th century.

If you want to learn more about the exciting history of Vågsberget trading and guesthouse, the Coastal Museum is open during the summer season with a guided tour of the historic houses, an exhibition and café in the operating building. Out of season, groups can make an appointment for a tour with the Coastal Museum, and you can also rent the place for meetings and parties.

Vågsvåg

Vågsvåg is a village in Kinn municipality in Western Norway. It is located by the Vågsfjord on the south side of the island of Vågsøy, at the mouth of the Nordfjord.

Getting there

Vågsberget trading and guest centre is located in Vågsvåg about 5 km south of Måløy. Follow fv 601 to Vågsvåg, follow the signs to Vågsberget.
