Trimløypa in Måløy

Trimløypa runs between two loops around Skramsvatnet & Måløy stadium. The trail is paved with gravel which makes it an easy run or walks, whether you are alone, with a pram or with children.

Kjærlighetsstein in Måløy

If you are in Måløy & want a little refreshing nature detour, the love stone trail offers a nice walk starting at Gate 3 near Sør-Vågsøy church and ends at the Måløy stadium.

Turområde in Moldøen

Under the Måløy bridge, hidden behind the industrial building is a small gem of a hiking trail within walking distance of Måløy city centre.

Turområde in Vemmelsvik

This is a short and pleasant trip that is suitable for the most part of the year. The trail starts at the Vemmelsvik farm, it is unmarked but easily accessible.

Gamle Kvalheimsvei

The old road to Kvalheim village. With a gravel road, it is accessible for prams too. The trip starts right at the exit of Kvalheim where it is possible to park your car.

Cabin day trip at Kletten

At Kletten top in Deknepollen, you will find a one-day cabin trip. To get here you can walk from Blålida, Okshola and from Kulen (right by Måløy bridge). All three are family-friendly trips in hilly terrain.

Turområde in Dalsneset

This hiking area along the east side of Deknepollvatnet south of Dalsneset. You will find in the forest arrangements made for children to play and bonfire spots.

Kjeretoppane

From Trimløypa in Måløy you can walk to Kjeretoppane. The peak is also called Tjæretoppane, varying signs can be seen. The path from the trimløypa at the southern end of Skramsvatnet. There is also a signposted path further towards the Trimlæypa.

Veten in Måløy

Veten is one of the two distinct peaks that tower over Måløy. There are several marked trails. You can start from Trimløypa or from gate 7 in Måløy. From the top, you see large parts of Vågsøy and over Stadhavet(Stad Sea).

Brurahornet

Brurahornet is the second of two peaks that tower over Måløy. There are several marked trails. You can start from Trimløypa or from gate 7 in Måløy. From the top there is a fantastic view down towards the Nordfjord, Måløy and the mainland. Well worth the trip.

Brurahornet

Just behind Brurahornet is peak number two, if you visit one peak first then might as well go visit the second one right? You can start from Trimløypa or from gate 7 in Måløy. From the top, you see large parts of Vågsøy and towards Stadhavet(stad Sea).

Hesten

Hesten is located west of Vågsvåg. From the top, you have a view of Einevarden and the village of Kvalheim. (Funny literal translation, Hesten means Horse :) )

Børahornet

The path to Børahornet starts in the construction site Leite in Raudeberg.

Here you will have a view of Raudeberg, Silda and Flatraket.

Skongenes Lighthouse

Do you want to experience a freshly different long weekend or holiday? Take a trip to Skongenes lighthouse. Here you can spend the night in the lighthouse keeper's residence. Enjoy yourself in the sheltered yard and experience an eldorado of cliffs, paths and exciting sights to discover.
